Son: Writing and Speaking．Digital Asset

Thinking how to improve writing and speaking, seems a complicated topic. 

Without reaching all to the level of excess expectations, it seems not suitable for me to write any suggestions here. Thus, just drop down few simple notes if any inspiration given.

Reading, writing, listening and speaking are all closely interrelated.

First is to learn phonics and pinyin. 

To complete them,

Initial intention is for speaking and listening, but it also guides kids through self reading. 

For my son, Mandarin speaking and listening are at the level of S and Ex, while English speaking and listening are at the level of Ex and Ex this year

Reading is a fundamental skill of learning writing. By controlling quantity and quality of reading, we can start hands-on. i.e. writing. 

“Practice makes perfect”. Always, but with skills.

Encouraging kids to start writing diary is a good choice and also a good habit. 

e.g. “My little books of happy things” can be a good idea to start with, which shares and records the happiness moments in life. 

Also school shares an anthology of creative writing. Kid can memorize good words and sentences to enhance the writing skill if he loves to write.
